R.I.P Rammellzee
Rest In Power Rammellzee (1960-2010)
Rammellzee was a pioneer in hip-hop and street culture who broke barriers and boundries with his art, music, and performances. His contributions to graffiti, street art, performance art, creative expression, and nyc culture are immeasurable.
In death, he joins Basquiat, Dash Snow, and Keith Haring as children of Warhol gone from this earth. The world has truly lost a creative soul. May you Rest In Power.

pickled
"Pickled!" Animation by Rather Severe
Animated installation inside the Stonewall Center in downtown Columbus, Ohio. This was 2 week project from concept to finish. Animation by Jon Stommel and Travis Czekalski, collectively known as “Rather Severe”, the photos were sequenced in After Effects to “Pickled!”, off of Flying Lotus’s new album Cosmogramma.

Refait
"Refait" is a remake of the football WorldCup match between France and Germany (Seville, Spain, 1982). Shot by Pied La Biche in Villeurbanne (France), every aspect of the fifteen last minutes of the match was carefully reconstructed : players, positions, gestures, intensity, drama etc. It consists in shifting the traditional game area into the urban environment. Each sequence takes place in one or several locations and then the city temporarily becomes the lab for unsual experiments. The soundtrack is made up of the original commentaries mixed with interviews of the audience recorded during the shooting."
