High Fashion Crime Scenes by Melanie Pullen

Melanie Pullen's collection of murders and suicides aren't the most unique. Honestly its very similar to what a certain South Florida native turned club promoter has done in the past but still visually striking nonetheless. The High Fashion Crime Scene series is based on vintage crime-scene images she mined from the files of Los Angeles Police Department, the County Coroner's Office, and other primary sources. Drawn to the rich details and compelling stories preserved in the records, she began re-enacting the crime-scenes, outfitting the "victims" in current haute couture, and photographing them in her staged settings.
